If each of us took the time to stop and think how we would like to be treated in everything we do we would find the world would change in a very profound way. Consider something as simple as driving. If when driving you considered how upsetting it is to be cut off you would reconsider doing it to someone else. If you realized speeding could lead to losing control of your car and cause an accident the roads would be safer. Knowing this is the way God wishes all of us to live and is the prophetic direction we should all be following can help change the world. Everything we do
It might seem difficult to conceive changing your life so much that you think about this simple rule whenever you do something. However, it will make you feel better about yourself and may even inspire others to behave in this fashion. They say that laughter and good moods can be catching. If this is so then it is also possible for good manners to catch on as well. If you hold the door on the elevator on your way to work others in the elevator might be worried they will be late. However when they see the smile on the person’s face as they enter the elevator and express their gratitude, not all but most hearts will see it was the right thing to do and they may be inspired to follow suit the next morning.
Lead by Example
They say that we should lead by example. Why not live by example as well? If you make it your personal duty to show others how doing unto others is the right way to live you are living by example.
